This project is about designing a typeface for Morii Design. Morii is a design studio inspired by Indian crafts and contemporary design. The typeface, Morii Lipi, is designed as a body font for everyday reading and brand use. It sits somewhere between Gothic and Humanist styles, trying to balance structure with warmth. The aim was to create a typeface that feels calm, grounded, and easy to read, while also fitting Morii’s visual identity. In the future, this typeface can grow into a larger type system with multiple scripts and craft-inspired display typefaces built from the same foundation.
